Mount Fuji and Lake Ashi (Ashinoko)
Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan. Mount Fuji's exceptionally symmetrical cone, which is snow-capped several months a year, is a well-known symbol of Japan and it is frequently depicted in art and photographs, as well as visited by sightseers and climbers. It is a Special Place of Scenic Beauty, a Historic Site, and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List as a Cultural Site on 22 June, 2013.

Lake Ashi (Ashinoko) is a crater lake, 17.5 km in circumference. Lake Ashi is also well known for its reflection of Mount Fuji, which can be seen on a clear day from many points along the shore.
