NIPPO’s technologies and its pavement construction methods spread throughout the world, constructing roads, sport facilities, and test courses.

NIPPO has been involved in overseas construction activities since the 1930’s in China and Taiwan. Since then, NIPPO’s pioneering spirit has been demonstrated in Asia, Europe, The United States, and the rest of the world, constructing roads, sport facilities, and test courses.

Overseas businesses in the past

1980s Along with the overseas business expansion of Japanese automakers and automobile affiliated manufacturers in US and UK etc., took the subcontract of test course design, and related technical instruction and construction instruction. In addition, manufactured and sold asphalt laminated wood in Malaysia.
1970s Began to tackle overseas construction in earnest and conducted paving work of oil related facilities and port-and-harbor related facilities in Iraq as a subcontractor, and construction of highways in Indonesia as a member of joint venture.
1960s After the war, conducted road construction on Bosphorus first bridge in Turkey and oil refinery yard road construction in Kharg Island in Iran as constructed instruction.
