Rapid drying of wet road surfaces prior to paving work

Overview

A self-propelled hot-air road surface dryer for drying slabs and pre-paved road surfaces made wet after a rainfall or fog as a preliminary treatment for deck slab waterproofing works and paving works.

Features

  1. Unlike a direct-fired system, a hot-air drying system prevents thermal degradation of deck slabs due to the exposure to excess heat.
  2. Uneven drying due to uneven exposure to heat is prevented since this system does not produce heat that is pinpointed the way a direct-fired system does.
  3. With the amount of heat that needs to be produced being approximately 57% less than what is produced by a direct-fired system, this system saves energy and generates less gas emissions.
  4. A more compact and lightweight body delivers improved workability and mobility.

Uses

  • Drying of bridge deck slab surfaces and existing road surfaces
